As you enter December, you may still be feeling the effects of the solar eclipse which happened in your solar 2nd house and which turned the focus onto your finances – yours and those of other people. The solar eclipse might have helped put your finances on a better footing or shake things up in some way. Saturn’s arrival in your 2nd house already put the emphasis on your resources and your values since November last year before it went retrograde and then returned to this sector to stay for another 2.5 years in August 2012. In fact, while you might feel there are fewer resources available to you, it might actually distance yourself from whatever financial situation you are in and carefully look at how your earnings have previously influenced your self-worth. For the next 2 years, your attitude towards money is likely to change. However, I already said it in November that sometimes with this transit resources are built slowly but steadily and as Saturn is exalted in Libra, this might be a distinct possibility.
As
we enter December, your 2nd house is still host to Venus and Mercury who are
fast moving towards the eclipse point, moving anything that happened around the
eclipse and connected to your finances to the next level, offering new ideas
and opportunities so solve any issues that may have come up. Alternatively, you
could have received a nice pay rise or bonus after months of hard work. Mercury
will trigger the eclipse point first on the 4th / 5th December followed by
Venus 5 days later. Eclipses are felt up to three months before the eclipse
takes place and actually governs all transits in this timeframe. So it may be
that you have been reviewing your financial situation since August or perhaps
you’ve taken a look at your own worth either at work or in relationships.
As
we enter December, the North node / Rahu is preparing to leave your 3rd house
of neighbours, siblings, short term travel and communication. If you have
children, early schooling could have also been an area of focus over the past
18 months. From January onwards, your 2nd house will receive a boost and show
you where the biggest focus and opportunities lies. Again, your finances seem
to be a hot topic over the coming 18 months. At the end of this transit, you
should be in a better financial situation than before – transformed in some way
anyhow.
From
the 11th December, the focus shifts and you are less preoccupied with money
matters. You might feel a bit more outgoing and a lot of interactions is going
on, maybe you’re negotiating a contract – or renegotiating as Mercury has
resumed forward motion again in later November. As Uranus moves forward on 13th
in your house of committed relationships and the new Moon takes place in the
3rd house on the same day, news about a contract or previously agreed
arrangement can come through swiftly. In any case, negotiations are progressing
swiftly.
If
you are single, someone new may enter your life very quickly now, however, this
person may also be asking for a lot more freedom than you may have been used to
in the past. Your relationship sector is undergoing a shake up and partners
whether that’s business or personal, will want to claim more freedom for
themselves which initially may seem very unsettling until you realise that
being an individual in every kind of a relationship means it’s a healthy
relationship where both partners can express themselves more freely and
according to their nature. The same goes for legal situations which can be
disruptive and ever changing. The trick to deal with this transit is to live
and let live, don’t be too rigid.
In
Indian astrology, this December 2012 new Moon falls in your solar 3rd house in
the nakshatra of Jyestha (the chart is divided into 27 sections or nakshatras).
This nakshatra is said to be an independent one and where we have to do things
by ourselves. In this nakshatra, we can’t rely on others but have to take the
position of leader. This position also tells me that although you may do better
now to go it alone – or maybe just follow your own interests for the time being
– don’t be stubborn and aggressive with it. Scorpio is a slightly aggressive
but very secretive sign so make sure you keep all channels open and don’t blow
anything out of proportion. In the 3rd house, make sure you keep the channels
of communication open.
As
the month progresses, Mars moves through your solar 4th house along with Pluto.
This makes for a passionate encounter and one that stirs up your emotions. You
may be thinking about the past, which is normal at this time of the year and
some of the skeletons of that past may emerge to be dealt with once and for
all. However, Mars rules your 6th house of disagreements and is a fiery planet
anyway, so be careful to overegg some emotions and don’t let them get out of
control – again, another thing that can quite easily happen at this time of the
year! As with all transits, this one can also manifest in several ways.
Jupiter, the ruler of your 4th house, is in the 9th house of the higher mind
and long-distance travel – some of you may be thinking about moving abroad,
perhaps to warmer shores. With Mercury in the 4th house from 27th December,
your living situation and home environment is something that is on your mind as
the year closes. I feel like these transits in your 4th house are a bit too
significant to simply suggest a make-over of your home, although, of course it
can all be part of it. The full Moon on the 28th December will shed more light
on this situation and bring it to a conclusion – at the very least, you’ll be
in a situation where all the details are available and all the information is
out in the open. This time will bring things to a close and a peak, so have a
think about what happened around the July 3rd full Moon as well as first quarter
Moon on March 30th 2012. Anything that shifted then will be part of the story
now. The last piece of the puzzle will fall into place in September next year.
Have
a good month Virgo – a lot will fall into place in terms of your finances and
living situation.
