Calling all Cancer Ascendants

To all Cancer Ascendants or Suns - I am still focusing on what happens around the time of the new Moon and full Moon when it falls into the 6th house. As a reminder, the 6^th house, a bit like the 3^rd and also to an extent the 12^th house is not hugely tangible and its ‘remit’ is quite varied. The 6^th house rules daily routines, health and fitness and work routines (not your actual profession and career but more your place of work). It also deals with our enemies, conflicts, litigation and also divorce as well as issues of blame. On 11^th January, there is a new Moon in your solar 6^th house and for you, this may provide new beginnings and an opportunity to move forward with a more positive attitude when it comes to work or health routines. Maybe you are given a more prominent role at work now or your work environment suddenly changes or goal posts are shifting.

I received an interesting example back in December when I asked for feedback from Gemini Ascendants. After some delay and some time of negotiations around the go-ahead on a work project, the person received the green light to begin the new project, signing the contract the day before the new Moon. The project presents an increase in responsibility for the person and it seemed as though progress came fairly suddenly as at the beginning of November, it still seemed as though the activity was postponed again and again. Interestingly, Mercury was retrograde in November and came out of its shadow on 14^th December (this means the degree in the chart where it initially went retrograde) and Uranus, the planet of sudden developments, went direct again on 13^th December. For Geminis, Uranus currently sits in the solar 10^th house of career and profession so sudden progress in this area in December seemed likely!

Other questions to think about could include: is a colleague or your boss moving on? If you are the boss, are there issues or changes in the employee relationship? Or, are there issues emerging around your health and well-being? Or, have you decided that enough is enough in one particular relationship and you have recently decided to call it a day and go your separate ways? This can be a personal or a business partnership.
