Aquarius, it’s your
birthday month and while I will do a separate annual forecast for you, it has
to be said that not often do so many planets gather in your signs for your
solar return. This makes for a promising start to your personal new year,
especially with your ruler Saturn in exaltation and in a friendly and
supportive aspect. The past year and probably longer had you review your career
and perhaps your entire life direction and you had to deal with issues around
joint resources or there where some challenges around tax, insurance or
inheritance you had to face.
The start to your solar
year should feel quite different already. Jupiter, the planet of luck,
expansion and opportunity has been travelling through the bottom of your chart,
through the house of your emotions, since the summer of 2012. Hopefully you
will have had a little skip in your step again with a more optimistic attitude.
This transit can also mean a house move for some of you or maybe you are
looking for a new flatmate. Jupiter rules your houses of gain and finance so
the two could be connected and progress if not some good fortune can be
expected at least until the summer of 2013.
You have a lot of
charisma and energy this month Aquarius, especially in the first half as all
planets are in direct motion. If you need to push forward with a project,
contract or house move use of the energy before Saturn and Mercury are turning retrograde.
Such a large amount of
planets in your signs of course also has a beneficial impact on your
relationships as you feel more attractive and outgoing. Although your
relationship houses are unoccupied this month, you have the energy to go after
what you want. If there is someone you have set your sight on, then the time
around the full Moon on 25th February signals a ‘change in status’.
This means that if you have been seeing someone, you may now decide to commit
or at the very least address any challenges that you may face in your
relationships now. This can also concern business partnerships and, if you are
flat-sharing, the person you live with and are closest to. Just be aware of
miscommunication as Mercury turns retrograde on 24th February in
your sign. You may come across as a little confusing or not clear about your
intensions – think before you speak over this time period. This particular full
Moon is also connected to what happened on or around 28th May 2012.
Perhaps a new love interest emerged back then and you are now keen to take it
to the next level. Alternatively, you may have ended a relationship back then
and you are now ready to use all the planetary support at your doorstep this
month to get out and mingle.
The new Moon on 10th
February falls into your 12th house of behind the scenes activities,
intuition and letting go in the nakshatra (one of the 27 or 28 lunar mansions
in the Indian horoscope) of Uttara Ashadha. This basically translates as ‘later
victory’ and is ruled by the Sun. The main motivation with a new Moon in this
nakshatra is spiritual liberation. But Uttara Ashadha is also competitive and
pushes us to attain great achievements. This new Moon is also in a square to the
North node which can make us emotionally a little unbalanced. However, for you
Aquarius, Rahu is in your solar 9th house of religion, world travel
and higher learning. In Indian astrology, the 9th house is also
considered the house of the father in the sense of the mentor so while there
may be some emotional entanglement with a father figure or a mentor, overall, I
don’t get the feeling that this new Moon affects you in a negative way. Instead
in seems to add to the themes of new spiritual beginnings, long-distance
travel, your belief system and perhaps higher learning.
In February, we also
have an important configuration which will affect us all building up called The
Yod or The Finger of God. This will be exact in March 2013 but can already be
felt this month. This Yod configuration has two planets, Pluto and Saturn, in a
sextile – which means they are in harmony and the focal planet, Jupiter, is in a
quincunx. This means that Pluto and Saturn, the other two planets in the Yod, are
completely incompatible, sharing neither gender (masculine/assertive or
feminine/receptive), element (fire, water, air, or earth), or modality
(cardinal, fixed, or mutable). This Yod shines its light across your solar 4th,
11th and 9th houses, activating either a powerful conduit
of energy, or a deeply-felt block, in the direction of the quincunxed planet –
which is Jupiter in your house of your past, your emotions, your mother and
your home. So there seems to be a little bit of pressure building up in this area
as Jupiter is pulling in an opposite direction from Pluto and Saturn. This can
cause you to let go of certain interests and habits in order to become involved
in what is showing on the horizon – all in the area of your home environment,
your mother or emotionally. The Yod is said to have
the potential to trigger major events in someone’s life and if you are facing
challenges in these areas, the best way to achieve a positive result is through
adaptation and at least considering new paths. Your personal power and energy will
help you hugely with this in February. It takes great initiative and fortitude
to overcome the limitations created by the Yod, but great rewards can be the
result.
In the second half of
the month, your ruler Saturn going retrograde from 18th February
until 8th July 2013 which means that matters concerning the 9th
house will be even more pressing perhaps due to the delay caused by Saturn
going backwards. Use this time to review issues, challenges and opportunities
around legal matters or review or re-establish what you belief in.
