Aquarius, it’s eclipse month once again and this year, it
coincides with the full Moon in your own sign early on in the month on 8th September. This full Moon not only puts the spotlight on yourself but
also on your relationships which are receiving a lot of planetary support at
the moment. You may feel quite optimistic about relationships or you are keen
to meet someone new. Partnerships are a source of a lot of stability and
security in your life at the moment and those Aquarians who are taking theirs
to the next level, might even move in with their partner or at least start
talking about it. Think about what you started looking at in terms of
partnerships back in December 2012 – single or not, something is changing now.
If you have been on your own for some time, then this period does looks like a
bit of a breakthrough time – with the Moon involved, much of it can be
internal. You’ll recognise what obstacles are in your way either personally or
in a relationship and at best, you’ll now also recognise what a solution would
look like.
So, much of the month is focused on relationships but the
big news in September is of course the solar eclipse in your 8th house on 24th. While earlier on in the month
and in August, the nature of your relationships and your relationships ‘status’
were up for discussion, the focus is now on bringing you closer together -
Aquarians are keen to get to the bottom of relationship matters now - as well
as building upon the financial foundations of any type of partnership.
With Uranus in opposition to the eclipse, money can come
and go very quickly but if you’re lucky, some Aquarians might even be in for an
inheritance. There is a lot of paper work do to with finances now, related to
mortgages, other types of loans and your partner’s income – all of which seems
to be in bit of a state of flux. But as opposed to a lunar eclipse, which often
brings things to a dramatic peak or even end, the solar eclipse is a new
beginning – but of course, in the first instance, this also means an end of
some kind and in your case a financial one. It can be equally as intense as the
lunar eclipse but we start something new, possibly due to outside influences,
and we make choices based on what is coming out into the open. We just don’t
quite see where we are headed next. Whatever is beginning now starts to emerge
and eventually come to its own natural end over the next 2-and-a-bit years.
In Vedic astrology, this solar eclipse is in the nakshatra
of Uttaraphalguni, which is ruled by the Sun. It’s the nakshatra of the ‘social
worker’, the one who helps those who need it most, the one who heals and counsels
others. This is an intellectual placement, you are now brilliant with details,
very capable at explaining how you feel. Great in your case with intimacy and
close relationships accentuated this month. Also, according to ancient
astrology, prosperity by way of marital union is also one of its leading
attributes of this nakshatra.
Just a few words on Venus in
Virgo – Venus is travelling through this sign and your intimacy zone until 19th October. Venus doesn’t do too
well in small-minded and detail-oriented Virgo. Venus’ charm and sense of
beauty gets a bit lost in the intellectual and airy environment that is ruled
by Mercury and in the sign of Virgo, she can be self-criticising which can also
mean lower than usual self-esteem. Although great for healers and counsellors, especially
in this area of your chart, Venus in Virgo is the perfectionist, with an
over-stimulated and restless mind with nervous, doubtful questioning of the
validity of much of one’s appearance and ability to always differentiate
between the rights and wrongs in relationships and what you should be able to
expect from others. In your case, this might certainly be the case…Ultimately
and on the positive side, you might just be enjoying getting to the bottom of
things, getting down to the nitty gritty details to understand the sudden
changes coming your way generally but more specifically around your emotions as
