Big, big month for you, Pisces! The solar eclipse in your 8th house on 24th September sweeps in brand new relationship situations that you’ll have to face head on over the coming months, if not years. With Uranus in opposition to the eclipse, your relationship status could change very, very quickly and Pisceans are either breaking up with a partner or a meeting a mysterious and handsome stranger who turns your life upside down. Uranus in your own sign could also mean that you are finally recognising yourself as an individual instead of ‘just’ being part of the pack; Uranus gives you sudden insight and perhaps realisations about the true state or the reality of your partnerships and you as an individual whether you are coupled up or not.
As opposed to a lunar eclipse, which often brings things to
a dramatic peak or even end, the solar eclipse is a new beginning – but of
course, in the first instance, this also means an end of some kind. It can be
equally as intense as the lunar eclipse but we start something new, possibly
due to outside influences, and we make choices based on what is coming out into
the open. We just don’t quite see where we are headed next. Whatever is
beginning now starts to emerge and eventually come to its own natural end over
the next 2-and-a-bit years.
Both Mercury and Venus are part of this eclipse too, so
there will be a lot of talking, a few
revelations but potentially also a few accusations flying back and forth. It’s
a highly dynamic time for all kinds of partnerships and you or your partner are
keen to change the status quo and transform the relationship for the better –
hopefully – but you will have to face some home truths head on. Money is also
part of the picture and the debate about your partnership and its future. This
is also an obvious combination for any kind of business partnerships that
require solid contracts and financial clarity for both sides. In any case, it’s
certainly a time of greater intimacy and a closeness that you may not have felt
for a number of years as you have started to find out who the new and eccentric
and independent and imaginative you is going to be.

Uttaraphalguni, which is ruled by the Sun. It’s the nakshatra of the ‘social
worker’, the one who helps those who need it most, the one who heals and
counsels others. This is an intellectual placement, you are now brilliant with
details, very capable at explaining how you feel and what your relationship
requires to grow or come to fruition. According to ancient astrology,
prosperity by way of marital union is also one of its leading attributes of
this nakshatra and what an apt description of what is going on in your life.
In order to prepare for the eclipse, use the full Moon on 8th September to take some time out, focus on what makes you feel good and
forget about the stress at work. Perhaps you are feeling a little bossed around
– no Pisces can tolerate that well at the moment and even the slightest sign of
other people telling you what to do puts them in the danger zone! If you are
working in a team or even if you are ‘only’ working with a superior, it’s
important to address any issues and criticism in a constructive way now instead
of flying off the handle. Other people are placing demands on your time now, so
try and remain diplomatic.
Just a few words on Venus in Virgo – Venus is travelling
through this sign and your relationship zone until 19th October. Venus doesn’t do too
well in small-minded and detail-oriented Virgo. Venus’ charm and sense of
beauty gets a bit lost in the intellectual and airy environment that is ruled
by Mercury and in the sign of Virgo, she can be self-criticising which can also
mean lower than usual self-esteem. Although great for healers and counsellors,
Venus in Virgo is the perfectionist, with an over-stimulated and restless mind
