Aquarius
although this is quite a busy month for you, you feel at home with yourself,
you feel quite secure and generally optimistic about the future. Even though
you may be thinking a lot about the bigger picture and what life is all about,
overall, you should be feeling quite happy in your own skin. Venus in your own
sign for most of the month and in connection with Neptune puts you in a romantic
and easy-going mood. You're idealistic as it is anyway but with this
combination, it's easier for you than at other times to ignore others' annoying
habits and character traits. This also makes you outgoing and approachable - so for those
of you looking for romance, this is a good month to try and put yourself out there. As I said,
you're busy this month, there is a lot of activity around communication,
business meetings, sales activities, training, travelling and planning for one
or more of these. You're dealing a lot with other people now and looking ahead,
connecting, bargaining and promoting yourself is part of what's happening in
April. So, this makes it easy or easier for you to meet new people, including a new love interest. This is also a
month to try out new communication channels and methods such as online dating.
Equally, April
is a creative month for you - your ideas, insights and your ability to look at
the bigger picture are in demand. This flexibility might help you with some
ongoing challenges or pressures at work and – temporarily – around finances. Perhaps
this is why you may be thinking about going it alone, setting up someone
creative and innovative, where you can use your hands and build something from
nothing. If this is the case and even if not, you’ll be on your feet a lot this
month, moving about, making plans and visiting people. For some of you, travel
plans both long distance and closer to home feature now and once the full Moon
(eclipse!) comes round, you are ready to either hop on a plane or commit to a certain
destination…don’t worry about money too much, April (and May) doesn’t look bad
at all for that.
Some Aquarians that have been
involved in a more spiritual quest that in some cases may have involved
research, new learning and a new understanding may find that this month turns
out to be a major milestone. In any case, what you’ve been working on since July 2013 is coming to
an end and is moving into its final stages with the lunar and the solar
eclipses taking place this month. Generally speaking, eclipses are tied to
changing circumstances which over the past 18 months, and most likely more,
have become necessary for your growth. The first eclipse on 15th April 2014 is
a lunar eclipse in the area of your chart to with understanding, education,
travelling, spirituality and religion. In Vedic astrology, this is also the
area of the father or the mentor so teaching, mentoring, advising or seeking
advice could also feature strongly now. One underlying aspect in your case is
also to solve issues and conflict that is around at the moment through
communication; perhaps to do with colleagues, siblings, neighbours or your
partner.
Generally
speaking, lunar eclipses are relationship-oriented and a time when we suddenly
realise a great need or want. The impact can bring certain relationships to an
end but it can also have the opposite effect. Some couples realise they can’t
live without each other. Eclipses usually entail a change in status, so a break
in the path, a milestone and a tipping point. This is the last one in the
series of eclipses across the Libra and Aries axis so some of the same issues
of the past year may crop up again, especially those that have continued to
fester underneath the surface. Think about what happened around October 2012
and then again around mid-July 2013. The solar eclipse on 28th April 2014 is
then a new beginning, a new cycle and a break from the old path. While you may
not know exactly what the new path looks and feels like - the Sun that gives
light and insight, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun temporarily – but a new spiral
of personal development is set into motion. In my opinion, a lot of what you
can grab hold of now has to do with what I mentioned before: learning,
travelling and your creativity.
April is an
intense month not only due to the eclipses but also due to the squares and
oppositions between Uranus, Pluto, Mars and Jupiter. So, again, a lot is
shifting for you, progressing and coming to the surface. One the one hand around friendships
and associates, romance, intimacy, psychology and creativity and on the other
hand, around other people’s money, your own income, possessions, savings and profits
of some sort. With Venus by your side, supporting your money house, you should
be able to attract some of that to you – at the same time, you may need to
