Capricorn, you always feel a sense of duty towards your work and this month, there seems to be some sort of achievement and peak around your work. You can receive public recognition for your successes and all the commitment you’ve shown over the past year and more. You may be dealing a lot with financial transactions now and you carry out your leadership responsibilities with a strong sense of duty. Even though you usually keep the purse strings quite tight, this month, you may even get caught up in speculative ventures. It’s best to remain conservative in this case. 

 

In any case, you pick up on what changed or moved in July 2013 – it most likely has to do with career but for some also relationships and business partnerships. Any developments and activities are moving into their final stages with the lunar and the solar eclipses taking place this month. Many Capricorn have been gunning for a promotion or some sort of a recognition or at the very least some sort of change in direction career-wise. You want to be visible and you are very visible as well as ambitious these days and a good leader to others. You want to crash the glass ceiling and make a difference through the role you play at work or in society. The ongoing eclipse cycle that affect your career and life ambition as well as you home environment continues this month, putting the final touches on this cycle and any progress and change you have to make and have had to ‘endure’ in these areas in your life. Sure, you are ready and have been keen on change for some time, now is another one of those moments when you are either forced to deal with change or you are the one instigating it. A lot may have to do with others and your partner, for example, if you are single, then April may be a month where you put an end to this and quite suddenly. Equally, if you and your partner have been looking for a place to live, then this month should see some progress around a house move or sale etc. Your partner’s finances or more broadly speaking, other people’s money such as mortgages are now a big part of the picture that has an impact on where you live and how. 

 

Generally speaking, eclipses are tied to changing circumstances which over the past 18 months, and most likely more, have become necessary for your growth. The lunar eclipse on 15^th April 2014 is relationship-oriented and a time when we suddenly realise a great need or want. The impact can bring certain relationships to an end but it can also have the opposite effect. Some couples realise they can’t live without each other. Eclipses usually entail a change in status, so a break in the path, a milestone and a tipping point. This is the last one in the series of eclipses across the Libra and Aries axis so some of the same issues of the past year may crop up again, especially those that have continued to fester underneath the surface. The solar eclipse on 28^th April 2014 is then a new beginning, a new cycle and a break from the old path. While you may not know exactly what the new path looks and feels like - the Sun that gives light and insight, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun temporarily – but a new spiral of personal development is set into motion. A lot of what you can grab hold of now has to do with, again, your home environment but more broadly, your sense of security and where and how you feel most comfortable. Some Capricorns may have to help out relatives in the sense that you are the ones sorting through family finances and matters of inheritance. 

 

April is an intense month not only due to the eclipses but also due to the squares and oppositions between Uranus, Pluto, Mars and Jupiter. Again, a lot is shifting for you, progressing and coming to the surface. While something has to give, something else will come into your life instead, especially to do with career, life direction and your foundations in life as well as your general outlook and perspective.
